On Saturday 27th August Tom Newton and Anna Brown were married at St Andrews Church, Whitchurch, near Tavistock in Devon.

Celebrations continued at Two Bridges Hotel in the middle of Dartmoor (near to Sourton Tor, where Tom proposed to Anna the previous year) with a formal reception, meal, speeches and dancing till midnight.

The following day a Dartmoor “Letterboxing” excursion was laid on in Fogintor Quarry in the morning, and the weekends festivities were completed with a splendid Hog Roast laid on by Mr and Mrs Brown at their house in Tavistock
